Prayer Request
I have a quick prayer request. A dear friend of mine, Clyde Antwine, is having surgery to remove a malignant tumor in his neck on Tuesday, April 4th. Clyde and his wife Gwen were my Germany campaign sponsors. They have had such an incredible influence in my life and I can't bear the thought of anything like this happening to them. Please pray, especially on Tuesday that the Lord will carry Clyde through this and the next 6 weeks of radiation. We're praying for you Clyde and Queenie!!! I love you both very much!!

Gentlemen Only Ladies Fordbidden
That's what Adam says the word "golf" stands for. I'm not sure I believe it but I do know Adam is an avid golfer. So let me tell you what liking Adam has gotten me into this time...
Last week the gym teacher comes to me and asks when Lori, a fellow teacher is coming back from maternity leave because she volunteered (pre-baby news) to help coach the CHS golf team. My ear immediately perk up at the word "golf" because Adam has been talking about us playing for some time now. When I tell her that Lori will not be back in time to coach golf, she immediately asks me if I'm interested in coaching the sport of which I know nothing about (I took lessons when I was little but all I remember is drinking Orange Crush on our break!) Two thoughts immediately come to my mind. 1) Do I get to miss school (yes, teachers try to get out of teaching without having to take a sick day every once in awhile)? and 2) Adam would be so impressed if I learned the rules of golf all on my own! So it turns out that I do get to miss school and it is after all my programs for the year are completed AND Adam can help coach! I'm thinking what a fun thing for us to do together. It's just not enough that I teach 8 different classes a day and put on six different programs throughout the year...no no no, the thought of being done with my programs was not enough, I needed an extra committment. So as of yesterday, I am the proud new owner of my own set of ladies golf clubs. We have our first official practice today and I am moving full force into the sport of golf! WHAT AM I THINKING?? I really can't say no to ANYTHING! HA

Michael Buble...I Love You!
Thanks for the amazing evening you gave me last Sunday. The night was simply magical! The way you sang to me and looked at me as if I were the only girl in the room. I know you must have girls constantly seeking your attention so I consider myself lucky to have even been in your presence. But I can't run away with you, as was the previous plan, for I have found another. I will always remember March 19th as being an incredible night of "music" making. But my heart belongs to the man who was willing to take me to see such an amazing act as you, the man who pre-paid before you were even on sale, just so that I would have a good seat. My heart belongs to Adam. Thanks for spoiling me Adam! I couldn't have had a better evening!
Love,
April, Michael Buble fan and enthusiast

Houston Wedding
Adam and I went to Houston this weekend for a wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and a really fun reception (even though I didn't know anyone!) I met Adam's parents for the first time and they were so sweet! What a wonderful family! Adam's dad took this picture of us right next to where the outdoor wedding took place.Thursday, March 09, 2006
Sweet Butter
So I'm in study hall the other dayand this first grader is working on his phonics homework. There is a short paragraph then he had to answer questions pertaining to the paragraph. Well this little story was about sweet butter. That's all you need to know to get this story. He brings me his work to check and the question on the worksheet reads "what did Sally ask for?" His answer...sweet butt. I'm not even kidding!! It was a simple mistake, he forgot to write the -er at the end. But I wanted to laugh so hard!
